Kepler College faculty members gather for an inspired panel discussion on Planetary Remediation, considering:
· Treating Symptoms vs. Transforming Patterns
Are we trying to soften a difficult planetary influence or change the person's relationship to it? Gems, colors, and diet can buffer hard transits, while ritual and mantra work at a deeper level. When do we reach for each?
· Timing the Remedy
When is the right moment to begin a treatment? How do we weigh the natal chart, current transits, and elected times when starting an herbal protocol, gem prescription, or ceremonial practice? What timing would make us hold off?
· Choosing the Medium / How We Select Remedial Tools
What guides our choice between gems, herbs, sound, color, diet, ritual, or relationship practices? Do we match the remedy to the planet, the person's constitution, their lifestyle, or their belief system? How do we decide between strengthening a weak planet versus pacifying a dominant one—and does the medium change accordingly?
· Mixing Traditions
We borrow freely from Jyotish, Hermetic magic, and folk practice. How do we keep each system's integrity intact? When does creative integration become confused blending—and does that matter if it helps the client?
· Ethical Boundaries
What are we qualified to recommend? How do we handle the overlap with licensed healthcare, get proper consent, and avoid doing harm through overzealous or mismatched remedies?
· Knowing If It Works
How do we tell when a remedy is actually helping? Client reports, life changes, and intuition all play a role—but establishing real cause and effect in symbolic work is tricky. How do we stay discerning without losing the mystery?
