Angle

An-gle
/ˈæŋ.ɡəl/

In astrology, one of the four primary points in a chart: the Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, and Imum Coeli, which mark the intersections between the horizon and meridian.

The angles are the most powerful points in a horoscope, orienting the chart to time and place. They represent the horizon and meridian at the moment of birth. Planets located near the angles are emphasized in strength and influence. In astrological judgment, the angles define the structure of the chart and are foundational for house division and interpretation.
